Cybersecurity policy will enhance State security: Sharath Bacche Gowda

Bengaluru:

Expressing concerns over the increasing number of cybercrime cases in the state, Hosakote MLA Sharath Bacche Gowda said that the implementation of the ‘Cybersecurity Policy-2024,’ would help improve cyber security scrutiny in Karnataka.

Speaking at the launch event of the Cybersecurity Policy 2024, he said that young people were increasingly turning towards startups, and that such security policies would help achieve further advancements in modern technology.

IT-BT companies and the public at large, too would benefit from this policy, he added.

The policy, implemented in two phases, will contribute to the overall security of society, including education, industry, startups, and the government.
